The Costa Blanca is the coast of the province of Alicante, a coast whose origins have been the perfect place for fishing, and around it's coastline you'll see many roman ruins that held the Salazon (factories where they salted the tuna) and tuna which were their main sources of income. Today obviously is not the Romans that are settled in Calpe, and the tuna is also not the main source of income. It's tourism. The exploitation of it's beaches, hotels, apartments, and restaurants are the motor of the Alicante economy on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Localities like Benidorm, Denia, and Alicante are amongst other that have grown due to the tourist demand and are now some of the most important tourist spots in the world. A location where you will find every type of place to stay, hotels, houses, villas, apartments etc...Everything to make your stay in the Costa Blanca in Spain that much more comfortable for you! |
